Notre Dame
The « housekeepers » of the hospitalité.
The hospitalières of Notre-Dame service ensure the well-being of the hospitaliers, the pilgrims and the sick, by accompanying them as they work in the following areas of service :
• Preparing a welcome for sick pilgrims
• Housekeeping in the kitchens, dining rooms and bedrooms where the sick are welcomed in the accommodation building known as the Accueil Notre Dame.
• Ensuring convivial living conditions.
• Floral decoration
• Etc…
The ladies of notre-dame service are present in the accueil notre dame accommodation centre, at the train station and airport and in the sacristies. They also look after a sewing workshop and the maintenance of linen. Their aim is to ensure that the sick pilgrims are welcomed « as if they were the lord himself».
